Starting in 2017, Sophia has been actively involved in the immersive technology community. Her roles include being the Vice President of the DC Chapter of the VR/AR Association, and the co-founder of XR women.
She also co-established Ready Player Golf, a groundbreaking Virtual Reality Charity Golf Outing raising significant funds for important organizations such as MSF (Doctors Without Borders), XRSI (the XR Safety Initiative), and Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF).
Her path has led her through stints with Meta’s Public Policy team, the Air Force’s Small Business Innovation Program, and representation of of immersive technology enterprises.
